Your mission
This role is responsible for optimizing inventory performance, ensuring efficient supply chain operation and minimizing costs, and has the ability to juggle with data but also to be an excellent communicator with all departments, including PFDC internal and external. Focus on:
· Focus on data driven inventory planning
· Short term stock management (3 months) and cross channel allocation/ask for arbitration.
· With expertise of processing design, system optimization and cost analysis.
· Consumer goods industry, with a focus on European sourcing imports and coordination with third party logistics (3PL) service providers.
Key responsibilities
· Inventory analysis & Short-term planning
· Monitor stock levels, analyze shortage risks or low stock alert, and co-work with demand planning team to identify slow-moving & obsolete to optimize inventory health.
· Implement a 3month shortage/low stock warning system
· Review in monthly meeting with channels to align the kits/label plan and preparations.
· Generate regular reports/review reports from supply chain team, on inventory management including stock shortage analysis, monthly stock equation, and weekly importation priorities.
· Supply chain execution
· Importation coordination: monitor leadtime, cost projection, and co-work with customs clearance executive, to manage the importation processes(from Europe mainly) including the substitutions between old codes and new codes.
· Value added service(VAS): Oversee labelling, repacking, and other 3PL performed services to meet customer requirements.
· Co-work with demand planning team, finance and sales team to align the priorities.
· Continuous improvement-Cost efficiency and digital optimization
· Able to analyze and propose solutions with cost efficiency.
· Experience in ERP or DTC order tools related digitalization projects to improve the data accuracy and automation level.
· Capability to develop dashboard (BI/Tableau) and tools to streamline reporting and decision making.
Knowledge
· Short term planning & inventory management experience in FMCG industry.
· Knowledge of Dynamics / SAP system preferred.
· Fluent in written and oral English.
· Quick learner, capability of problem-solving under pressure.
