Are you passionate about providing medical and scientific input? Pierre Fabre Oncology Benelux (PFOB) is excited to welcome a field-based Medical Science Liaison Oncology for the Netherlands. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the oncology field while working with a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Build and Maintain Medical Networks: Foster strong relationships with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) to ensure continuous medical and scientific support.

Scientific Training and Education: Collaborate with the medical advisor to organize and execute scientific training for commercial and medical affairs colleagues.
·
Patient-Centric Projects: Engage in innovative projects like e-coaching and patient educational videos to enhance patient care.
·
Identify Training Needs: Recognize and address the training needs of HCPs by organizing medical educational meetings.
·
Research Opportunities: Identify and pursue opportunities for investigator-initiated studies and non-interventional studies.
·
Medical Plans: Work closely with the Medical Affairs team to develop and implement Medical Plans and tactical strategies.

Field Medical Information: Provide ongoing field medical information to the Oncology team.
·
Expertise in Therapeutic Areas: Maintain a deep understanding of the therapeutic areas relevant to oncology.

Respond to Scientific Inquiries: Address unsolicited requests for scientific information from HCPs in collaboration with the Medical Information department.

Ethical and Compliant Practices: Ensure all activities are conducted ethically, legally, and in alignment with PFOB's strategy.
Qualifications and Experience

Education: Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc, or BSc with relevant experience).
·
Knowledge: Strong understanding of clinical research and disease management in Oncology.
·
Healthcare System: Familiarity with the hospital environment and healthcare system in the Netherlands.
·
Experience: At least 2 years in a customer-facing role.
·
Communication Skills: Ability to exchange complex scientific information with HCPs on a peer-to-peer basis.
·
Organizational Skills: Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
·
Licenses and Languages: Driver’s license and fluency in Dutch and English.
