SAP MES Functional Application Engineer

Job description

Position Summary :

Leading the planning, design, development and deployment of new MES solutions their connection to SAP and overall manufacturing execution controls.

Refine and enhance existing processes, application, establish effective user requirements and reporting.

The position demand knowledge in manufacturing and operation processes. Abilities to work within global SAP ME deployment team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for SAP ME (MES) master data definition and implementation with strong connection to the global IT team.
·  Provide functional & technical expertise to support Manufacturing/Quality systems mainly using MES module.
·  Lead the planning, development and deployment of new MES solutions, refine and enhance existing processes and application, and establish effective user experience and reporting mechanisms.
·  Focal point for line engineers and operators and for IT personnel as application expert.
·  Training (users of different levels)
·  Be a prominent part of the change in wow in the factory.

Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:

·  B.Sc. In Information Systems or Industrial Engineering with specialization in Operation/ information Systems.
·  At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing supported IT tools (ERP/MES etc.)
·  Experience in gathering information, interface creation and data collection from manufacturing lines to database structures (i.e. SQL)
·  High level knowledge using BAPI, IDOC, MII- Advantage. 
·  Supportive and service oriented. Team Player
·  Fluent English (verbal and presentation skills)
