Job description

I4 (Integrated, Intelligent Imaging Informatics) is an innovative software startup within Philips Healthcare Informatics. I4 objective is to define and implement the next generation Imaging Informatics products by providing smart clinically-aware solutions to enable faster, quantitative and more accurate diagnosis, with great emphasize on user experience.

The Release Train Engineer (RTE) leads the I4 Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Release Train (ART) processes and program execution, escalates impediments, manages risks, and drives program-level continuous improvement. The RTE ensures mission execution, leads and facilitates software teams on the ART through development and delivery, guides the transition to and implementation of SAFe, facilitates the PO Sync and Scrum of Scrum meetings, and is Agile and SAFe facilitator and coach at the Program level. This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of a large release train with multiple teams and a large logistical challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Leads PI planning readiness, vision, backlogs and facilities
·  Leads PI planning events
·  Leads program execution and PI feature completion tracking
·  Leads Scrum of Scrums
·  Helps manage risk, dependencies and critical bottlenecks
·  Escalates impediments
·  Maintains good communication, synchronization and alignment between the I4 SCRUM teams and between I4 ART and the other HIT ARTs we are working with
·  Drives program-level continuous improvement via system demos, retrospectives, Inspect and Adapt workshops, and by constantly inspecting the SAFe process, discovering and addressing the major concerns
·  Maintains meaningful metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on program-level plans, progress and quality
·  Encourages team and program level Quality Practices and Communities of Practice around SAFe, Scrum, and Agile program management
·  Reports status and recommendations to Project and Program Management

Requierments:

·  B.Sc. in a relevant field
·  Preferred Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA) and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
·  Knowledge of SAFe/LeSS/other scaled Agile way of working
·  Strong people leadership experience and ability to lead without authority
·  proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
·  Experience in one of the following domains: SW, Clinical, System Engineering
·  Experience in Medical device product development (familiarity with regulation processes etc.) – major advantage.
