This role, you have the opportunity to
Be the first to help start up our brand new location in Nashville.
You are responsible for
· Managing the payroll processing schedule and ensuring deadlines are met.
· Executing the processes necessary to generate on-cycle and off-cycle payroll results.
· Generating and submitting payroll output files to ensure timely reporting and remittance of employment taxes and garnishments.
· Processing and monitoring inbound/outbound interfaces.
· Generating G/L files and assisting Finance colleagues with questions related to the output.
· Participate in the quarterly balancing of year-end totals.
· Conducting year-end balancing and filings.
· Maintaining payroll process SOPs.
· Assisting with testing regulatory tax updates in the payroll system.
· Performing data quality checks in the HRIS and payroll systems and coordinating corrective actions with the A&P Specialists.
· Performing regular reviews of A&P Specialists' audits to ensure compliance with internal controls.
· Compiling monthly metrics used to monitor team performance.
· Liaising with teammates and third party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve payroll calculation errors.
· Assist in generating and reports for OFCCP audits.
· Complying with all Internal Control Standard (ICS) requirements in terms of supporting documentation and accuracy.
· Performing other duties as assigned in a timely and satisfactory manner.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
· Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll.
· Ability and willingness to be flexible with work hours. This encompasses working evenings one to two days per week and some holidays when the payroll schedule warrants. (Sample schedule: Sunday 8pm-10pm; Monday 10am-6pm; Tuesday start between 10 and noon and end between 7 and midnight (depends on payroll schedule; work from home permitted on bi-weekly pay cycles); Wednesday, Thursday and Friday normal 8 hour shift.
· Ability to adapt to frequent changes that can occur with vendor relationships, system updates, policies, etc.
· Resourcefulness in performing root-cause analysis, identifying systemic issues and implementing solutions.
· Ability to understand and apply federal and state regulations relating to payroll, labor and employment tax laws.
· Intermediate knowledge of office applications (MS Excel; MS Word; MS PowerPoint; MS Outlook).
· Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
· Experience with ADP Global View or SAP HRIS is preferred.
