Your challenge

Recently Royal Philips announced it is changing its go-to-market strategy in Australia by moving the distribution of the majority of its consumer product portfolio in-house. From 1 June 2017, Philips Personal Health Australia will commence managing the sales and distribution in-house of its Oral Health Care (Philips Sonicare), Male Grooming, Beauty and Garment Care categories, alongside the existing in-house sales and distribution of Kitchen Appliances, Hair Care, Coffee (Philips Saeco), Air Treatment and Floor Care categories.

A number of factors make this the right time for Philips to centralise its Australian go-to-market strategy. Most notably the changing retail landscape, the importance of Philips’ own relationships with its retail partners as it continues to put customers at the centre of its operations, and our commitment to offering a range of products that empower consumers to stay healthy, live well and enjoy life.

As a result of the go-to-market change, we are currently seeking 3 X Marketing Assistants in various areas within the business assisting with duties such assisting with events and trade shows, marketing campaigns and liaising with Key Account Managers and Digital Marketing with customer requests and point of sales materials.

Key Areas of Responsibility

·  Generate category supporting materials as requested by Marketing Managers - benchmarking, digital assets, product launch plans, retailer supporting materials, customer presentation.
·  Together with the Shopper Marketing Manager, develop a brief and annual plan for likely Point of Sale requirements.
·  Asset database- consolidate images and collateral into an accessible central portal, respond to requests and product specs as required
·  Work closely with the Shopper Marketing Manager to develop your understanding of how in-store investments are substantiated and their effectiveness measured.
·  Work alongside the Digital marketing manager to understand how digital can influence consumers, how to interpret analytics etc.
·  Promotions management-  raise PO’s, track invoicing, reconcile reports.
·  Trade materials- ensure deliverables are distributed to the field sales team timely.

About you

·  Some experience working in a similar or related field / industry.
·  Articulate communication skills, organised, self-motivated with a can- do attitude.
·  Strong IT skills- capable of using modern tools and software.
·  Ability to liaise with stakeholders in multiple levels and identify problems and take own initiatives.
·  Strong team player with ability to work autonomously
