Become an active and valued member of the Digital Marketing team, which manages the social presence of the Philips brand globally. The position requires someone who is highly organized, with a mind for social analytics and flair for data interpretation and insights generation, a person found of data analytics and willing to dive in the paid, owned and earned social media spaces for Philips.
Your responsibilities

· The assignment is to lend support to the Social Lead within Group Marketing.
· Main activities will include:.
o Generate one social monthly report covering the owned and paid media, coming from several brand pages, from different social media platforms.
o Download the organic and paid data from native channels or from Sprinklr and place it in xls reporting templates.
o Create the report presentation, containing all of the key information from the downloaded data.
o Generate the channel analysis and overlap it against the targets.
o Partner with the social media managers to understand what is the social media strategy they are applying on each channel.
o Assist the global social analyst in interpreting data and give recommendations and next steps from data point of view.
o Assist in organizing reporting trainings.
o Give the main conclusions and recommendations in the monthly report and sustain them in a presentation with the department.
· The goal of this Internship is to help the social team within the Digital Marketing department to transform into a best-in-class reporting model that also serves the needs of markets. The Intern will be fully immersed in the new and exciting world of Social Media Analysis and will learn from the inside how content is being developed in today's marketing, brand publishing and PR environments.
· The deliverables and performance expectations for this Internship:
o Generate one monthly report on all the globally managed social channels (owned + paid): one Facebook global page, two Twitter accounts, one LinkedIn page and 4 LinkedIn showcase pages and one Instagram account.
o Create and share the conclusions and recommendations with the internal team and with the agency, that would feature them in the SPAR analysis, (Social Perception Analysis Report), the report that covers the perception of Philips from earned social media.
o Study the paid audiences that the business is attempting to reach and create plans on how social media works best for them and their business model.

· Digital Marketing is part of the Brand, Communications and Digital (BC&D) department at Philips Group. You will therefore work closely with colleagues in Digital and more specifically in the global social department in the headquarters but also in the markets, worldwide:
o B2C Social Media Managers, developing content addressing consumers on either Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, in the headquarters
o B2B and B2G Social Media Managers, developing and managing content dedicated to business and government audiences, in the headquarters
o Social Media Managers and business digital analysis from the markets, worldwide.
o Global Social Media lead.

· Social media analytics is a new discipline which is guiding the way brands are exposing themselves onto social networks. You'll have an opportunity to learn about (and base your thesis on) this cutting-edge discipline.
· We are looking for an Intern for a period of 6-12 months, giving you the opportunity to really take responsibility for key areas within the team and to witness first-hand the transformation of Digital Marketing
· The Internship will be tactical, strategic, and operational.
Internship conditions:
Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance. A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract. A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline. To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:
· Currently studying towards your Bachelor HBO/ Bachelor of Science/Master of science WO (Bsc./Msc.) in:
· Communication & Advertising
· Marketing
· Journalism
· Public Relations
· Psychology
· Sociology
· Must speak and write excellent English; Dutch would also be an advantage.
· Keen knowledge of digital content and marketing, active on social media, and enthusiastic to learn.
· Highly-organized, independent and not afraid to speak your mind, excellent attention to detail, communicative and creative.
· No previous internship experience necessary.
