The research group Clinical Application Research (CAR) at Philips Research in Aachen deals with innovative technologies for medical imaging, data analysis and their utilization in clinical applications. The working atmosphere is characterized by an open interaction in small interdisciplinary teams with highly skilled people.
 
Your Responsibilities
 
At the inspiring interface of the medical and the technical world, we offer a highly rewarding job aiming at improving peoples live. You will participate in the forefront of research working on integration of medical images and derived information into an imaging informatics platform which will be further used for clinical research and data analysis. You will contribute to the state-of-the art approaches on managing of large amount of data. In particular, you will participate in the development and customization of a C#/C /Matlab based plugins interfaced with a research medical imaging platform.
 
Your Profile
You are Bachelor or Master student in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Communications) or comparable.
To be successful in your internship, you
Have a solid and proven background in programming (C , C#)
Have a systematic and thorough way of working
Take responsibilities and act on these
Are enthusiastic, focused and have a result-driven mind-set
Possess good communication skills and strong research skills
Knowledge of Matlab, client-server web technologies is a plus
English, German
