Your challenge

Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we're looking for?

As an intern in the Global Consumer Marketing team of Skincare – part of the Business Group Personal Care, Philips Consumer Lifestyle – you will work in a team of international marketeers, supporting the team in definition, development and introduction of Skincare products. You will work with local sales organizations across the globe and support them with the latest product launches.

Your responsibilities

·  Support in Product Development projects, including analysis on consumer and market data
·  Competitor analysis to support key innovation projects
·  Creation of benchmarks (packaging, distribution) to optimize go to market strategy and activation
·  Market Introduction Planning, preparing trade presentations, preparing activation materials, ensuring all information is available timely to countries to prepare their product launches
·  Support in Marketing Communication and packaging related projects, preparing packaging, marcom materials and online content

Your team

Philips Skincare has the ambition to grow its portfolio significantly over the coming years to become global market leader in device-based skincare for home use. You will work with an entrepreneurial team that is translating strong consumer insights to innovative products that work.

The consumer marketing team is responsible for global proposition development, starting with consumer insight generation, all the way to product development, market launch and life cycle management. In a very dynamic market with a multitude of projects, the team welcomes your support!

Our offer

Working experience in a global multinational, in the domain of Beauty and personal care. Hands-on product development experience, combined with marketing communication experience.

·  An internship of 6-12 months.
·  We prefer students available as soon as possible.

Internship conditions:

·  Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
·  A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
·  A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
·  The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
·  Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

Students currently studying towards their Bachelor (Applied Sciences/University) or Master of Science degree in one of the following fields:

·  Marketing
·  Communication

Furthermore we require you to:

·  Have strong communication skills
·  Be fluent in English (C1+/IELTS 7+)
·  Strong analytical capabilities
·  Have affinity with the beauty/skincare market
