Job description

We welcome you to join Philips Volcano as an Associate  Product Marketing Manager , Digital IVUS part of the Coronary Imaging and Systems Marketing group, a team responsible for the largest proportion of Philips Image Guided Therapy Device’s revenue.

In this role, you will execute the strategy for upstream and downstream product marketing for the company’s top selling imaging product line.

This position is poised for a rapid cadence of accomplishments fueled by exciting new investments.

Your role

You will provide primary marketing support for assigned products to translate customer needs into clear requirements and inputs for the product development process

Your Responsibilities

·  Collect voice-of-customer feedback from various stakeholders to inform product design and feature sets.
·  Interface with engineering to clarify and prioritize product requirements, feature sets, and user-centered design choices
·  Support product testing, arrange, and conduct product validations
·  Analyze and report on customer feedback, make recommendations for next generation priorities and roadmap
·  Ensure consistent and clear communication with cross-functional project team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery

Support operational and sustaining engineering needs for assigned products

·  Coordinate demand planning and inventory tracking to ensure the needs of the geographies and market segments are met
·  Support complaint resolution, interfacing with customers upon request for Marketing involvement
·  Serve as primary marketing core team member for sustaining engineering projects

Help execute overall downstream strategies to ensure excellence in new product introductions

·  Assist with documentation and communication of launch plans
·  Execute launch strategy including development of sales collateral
·  Interface with education and training department to develop high quality sales training materials
·  Support trade show and sales training activities as needed

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·  Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, science, or engineering preferred
·  2 or more years of medical device experience; interventional cardiology or radiology experience preferred
·  Proven track record of taking initiative and being a self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal direction
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to represent Volcano at professional/customer engagements in a competent manner
·  Proficient software skills across all standard programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); salesforce.com experience helpful

Desirable Qualifications

·  Knowledge of interventional lab procedures
