In this role, you have the opportunity to

The Android Developer will be responsible for developing Android based applications. This individual will work with fellow developers and provide mentorship across the Android codebase. The Android Developer will also be responsible for quality of the Mobile Application.

You are responsible for

·  Build native Android applications across multiple form factors
·  Mentor existing Android developers
·  Collaborate with developers to improve functionality
·  Development and integration of Java RESTful web services with CRUD to various database with security and encryption knowledge
·  Keep up-to-date on the latest Android SDK developments
·  Respond to customer feedback & testing
·  Analyze app performance in production
·  Test applications across various Android devices

Connected Sensing at Phillips is looking to hire an Android Development Engineer who will be key player in implementing disruptive, innovative cloud-based IoT services in the heart of healthcare revolution. The candidate should be a team player who likes to collaborate with (and mentor) others on the team with prior experience as Engineer.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

·  3+ years of experience in mobile development (Android)
·  Experience with Android Studio a plus
·  Java IDE – Eclipse or InteliJ
·  Java framework like Spring, Struts
·  Gradle build experience a plus
·  Bluetooth SDK experience a plus
·  Experience developing UI applications a plus
·  Hands on experience with testing across multiple Android devices
·  Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
·  Proven ability to work in a team environment
·  BS in computer science or relevant technical discipline required
