Job description
The following position has become available within our Marketing Department.
· The position will be reporting to the LAMP Supervisor.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the LA Channel executive is to increase awareness, trial and consideration of PMSA drive brands among targeted consumers within the LAMP (legal age meeting place) channel. In addition to this, the LA channel executive ensures PMSA brands becomes the preferred brands of choice through availability and visibility within their designated territories, as well as facilitating all selling activities at traditional and non-traditional touch points.
This role will suit an individual who loves building strong business relationships with key players within the industry. The individual will manage 3rd party agencies and event organizers and requires excellent negotiation skills in the fast paced social scene. The person should enjoy working at night and over weekends and keep abreast of being part of the social scene.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Effectively execute the LAMP strategy within their territory through by ensuring availability and visibility of PMSA brands within LAMP channel. Achieving the above by growing territory to 100 tactical and strategic venues and doing 15 calls per day
· Achieve DCC targets through selling activities and plug-in opportunities as per set KPI's.
· Attend Weekly Activations in trade at LAMP venues within designated territory
· Optimize regional activation schedule within designated territory to ensure highest possible impact.
· Manage venue contracts and renewals in line with authorized approval to ensure long term business growth, track and monitor all payments in regards to contracted venues in your territory
· Uphold corporate integrity and values while ensuring all activities comply with PMSA policies and procedures across the organization to support long term sustainability of our brands
· Manage relationships with all key FMCG representatives & LAMP owners/stakeholders in the designated territory in order to support business objectives to grow PMSA volume and market share.
· Ensure stock levels in applicable outlets meet sales requirements, including minimizing out of stocks, and optimize opportunities within the territory.
· Keep abreast with developments in the nightclub environment (music, fashion, trends, technology, products and competitor activities) and capitalize on opportunities that fall within the business strategy.
· Manage resource allocation to ensure maximized ROI within respective territory
· Ensure continuous growth of awareness and trial of our brands and ultimately support regional objectives.
· Implement trade programs and incentive schemes to increase market share of PMI products, gain competitor advantage at trade and increase image of PMI products
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Tertiary education in Sales/Marketing
· Minimum 2 years relevant LAMP experience in a FMCG environment
· Computer literate in MS Office
