We have an exciting opportunity for a number of individuals to commence a 4 year engineering career in August 2017 via our Engineering Modern Apprenticeship programme. We are looking to recruit apprentices who have ambition, drive and enthusiasm combined with a positive attitude. At the end of the Apprenticeship you will qualify as a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician and will have the skills required to pursue a career in engineering.

As an engineering apprentice, we offer a tailored learning and development plan with the opportunity to gain experience from different operational sites. You will spend your first 6 months at our training centre and College in order to build up your skills and knowledge to prepare you for working in an engineering environment. You will then come on site full time while attending College on day release, allowing you to continue to gain qualifications while developing your technical and operational skills, in order to provide a multi-skilled electrical and mechanical service. By the end of the four year programme you'll have achieved a modern apprenticeship in engineering.

What are we looking for?
You'll have good team work and problem solving skills along with the willingness to learn and develop your knowledge. In addition, we are looking for enthusiastic, driven candidates who have a strong interest in engineering and a fascination with how things work.
To meet the college requirements, you must have Maths, English, Physics or Chemistry and ideally a practical subject e.g. craft & design, woodworking skills or engineering skills/graphic communications. These should be at National 5 level or Intermediate 2 or Credit grade (already achieved or currently studying at this level).

This Online Digital Video Interview will give you the chance to tell us about yourself, education and career aspirations.
(Our team will review your video and if successful, you will be invited to the final stage, a face to face interview)
Stage 4 - Face to Face interview
This is your chance to prove to us why you are the right candidate to be offered one of our Apprentice positions.
