Job description
Henry Ford Academy is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and motivated Training Consultant with automotive experience to deliver their Sales, Aftersales and Product training. This role is responsible for the design, development and delivery of key parts of the Henry Ford Academy curriculum, working with the Curriculum Managers and Product Expert to ensure that all learning interventions meet the requirements of the client and key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Support Curriculum Managers in the development and delivery of learning intervention to achieve the strategic goals of the organization, ensuring that all training is aligned to industry standards (e.g. IMI)
- Design of training that utilizes new creative techniques to push the boundaries of traditional training delivery.
- Liaise with Curriculum Managers and Design Manager to provide suite of up to date innovative courses.
- Research, design and deliver all courses and programmes in line with business requirements of the Ford business.
- Knowledge and use of the latest training technologies which can be used to increase learner engagement and participation.
- Ensure that the latest thinking and best practice training techniques are used to ensure that client's expectations are exceeded.
- Work with the client training and Henry Ford Academy Marketing Service to effectively communicate the benefits of each course/programme developed.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills which drive trust, motivation and credibility in course attendees.
- Exceptional communication skills in a number of situations including coaching and lecture scenarios.
- Work with the Curriculum Managers to prove to the Dealer Network that training translates into improved personal and business performance.
- Ensure approval and verification processes are followed according to Awarding Bodies processes.
- Actively promote revenue opportunities to the leadership team.
Skills Required
- Proven experience of Learning & Development consultancy, or similar.
- Subject matter expert of automotive sales and product in a customer focused environment
- Recognised training qualification would be an advantage, such as CTP
- Degree qualification is desirable
- Extensive automotive sales and product knowledge and experience - including systems and process knowledge.
- Able to interact effectively with all delegates, and clients; representing Percepta in a professional manner to clients and customers.
- Excellent Computer literacy including SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to influence and motivate others.
- Ability to work across various organisational levels.
- Possess a flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
- Possess effective coaching and leadership skills.

- Management experience in an automotive after sales environment - desirable
- Flexibility to travel regionally within the UK.
