Responsibilities: • Operating in a Class 10,000 cleanroom. • Assembly of product. • Use of specialist automated electronic testing equipment. • Logging equipment use and maintenance. • Safe use of chemicals. • Recording results and collating data for analysis. • Participate in and contribute to the practice of continuous improvement. . • Responsible for ensuring that the policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety in the workplace are adhered to at all times. • Maintain high standards of housekeeping. Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: • Good 'hands on’ manual skills and attention to detail. • Will be focused and able to work to deadlines. • Will have good communication and people skills. • Will be punctual and reliable. • Capable of working alone and as part of a team. Education & Experience • GCSE grade C and above in Maths, English and Science. • Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment would be desirable. • Competent user of Microsoft Excel and Word.
