Overview

Packaging Machine Operator (PMO) -Tingalpa

Work with iconic brands such as Doritos, Gatorade, and Pepsi Max and some Australian favourites such as Smith’s Chips, Red Rock Deli and Twisties.

Due to our continued success and growth, we are currently seeking a full time Packaging Machine Operator to join our current Afternoon Shift Tingalpa team with The Smith’s Snackfood Company.

Details

·  Location: Tingalpa (QLD)
·  Position: Full Time Permanent
·  Selection Process: Phone conversation with our recruitment team, online assessment (mechanical), interview with manager, site tour and pre-employment medical checks
·  Salary between AUD $70,000 to $72,885

Responsibilities

About the role

·  Operating heavy machinery equipment, maintaining a continuous flow of product
·  Troubleshooting and monitoring the palletising automation and machinery
·  Managing production lines, equipment calibration and monitoring
·  Preparing and completing accurate records
·  Cleaning and housekeeping
·  Committed to quality assurance, and completion of quality checks as required
Qualifications

About you

·  At least 3 years of previous with automated machinery, palletising, and robot operation within a food manufacturing environment
·  A mechanically minded individual with a high aptitude in automated equipment operation
·  An understanding of HACCP and GMP with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability
·  A flexible and energetic approach to ensure the job gets done right the first time whilst maintaining safe working techniques
·  Experience with SAP advantageous
