Beginner/Intermediate Full Stack Web Developer Intern

Job description

We’re looking for an undergrad web developer to help build an exciting new SAAS product and work with the newest web technologies. The ideal candidate would be looking to gain industry experience before they start their tech career. We’re ideally looking for someone who has a beginner / intermediate Full Stack Web Development experience, preferably using Node or React JS, but do not worry if you’re not an expert.

If you have any previous experience with Docker or Jenkins this would be seriously advantageous.

We’re looking for someone who is potentially looking to start their career as a developer but needs the relevant experience to get into the industry. You’ll enjoy writing structured and clean code and will enjoy coming up with new ideas that could improve the product.

Personality type:
We are looking for someone who wants to become a leading programmer. We don’t mind if you want to become a specialist in a particular language or if you want to be a full stack developer. You have to love coding and are looking for a career in coding for the long term.

An ideal candidate is an undergrad who wants to contribute to building and creating an awesome product. They are the sort of person who has a long term perspective and right now they’re looking to build on their skills. Their intention should be that they want to have stronger experience and skills than any of their peers when they leave University.

Another ideal candidate is someone who is new to programming and is looking to rapidly increase their skills and add to a portfolio of projects for their CV in order to launch them into a coding career. They must have at least the basic skills listed but are also looking to learn so that they can progress to the next stage in their coding career and abilities.

A successful candidate will be thrown into the deep end and must enjoy the challenge of improving their abilities.

Who are we?

We are a new company, comprised of two people, which is building an industry changing SAAS product. We are currently live with a beta product but are still fully in development with new features and improvements based on user feedback. You’ll be working closely with the current developer who has been a professional web developer for 7 years and has worked with the industry's best companies.
