AWS DevOps Engineer

Job description

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a talented dev/ops engineer with considerable cloud experience working with progressive developer/test teams.
You will be joining a highly skilled cross-functional team enabling CI/CD pipeline for the project and ensuring implementation of best practices. You will work with an offshore team and mentor junior team members.

Desired profile

AWS (EC2, VPCs, ELBs, R53, RDS, S3, SQS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, OpsWorks)
Chef (or similar Configuration Management Tool)
Terraform / Cloudformation
Scripting (Python/PHP/Bash),
Security Policies & AD integration (e.g. OAuth)
Docker, or other containerisation tool
Git version control
CI/CD (GoCD or Jenkins)
Vagrant/Virtualisation
Databases (Postgres/MySQL, basic SQL Server understanding)
Demonstrable understanding of testing automation frameworks (such as Selenium WebDriver)
Demonstrable understanding of Cloud platform Security risks/issues
Linux administration (or Unix)
Windows Server basic experience

Ideal:
Exposure to Hadoop / Hive meta stores
Exposure to R
Exposure to reporting tools such as MicroStrategy}
