This particular role I am recruiting for is an assistant manager. The role duties will include the following:
- Supporting the Store Manager and team in all aspects of your store’s day-to-day operations
- Supporting and motivating the store team to hit targets and maintain our exceptional standards of customer service
- Help the Store Manager with certain Human Resources activities such as training and development
- Ensure our customers always get what they come for
- Be responsible for managing cash and other daily administrative tasks
- Establish the store is clean, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes
- Keep the store clear and safe for both employees and customers
- Great motivation and leadership skills for other members of staff
- The eagerness to go the extra mile for our customers
- Brilliant people skills
- A large degree of professionalism, more so when handling difficult situations
- A dedicated approach to solving problems, and the competence to deal with any issue
- Being flexible with shift patterns
- Having the drive for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines
- Preferably, previous retail management experience
