The Role: Graduate Business Development Manager Sector:  Finance

We’re now looking for talented and driven business development professionals to join this high profile, successful and growing team. Based in our Central Acquisition Team (CAT) in Brighton the role of Business Development Manager is an exciting opportunity for self driven, results -oriented individuals who have an understanding of and maybe first-hand experience in field or Telesales B2B sales and are looking for a new challenge. 

The mid market segment remains a strong opportunity for outstanding growth, and as such we require Business Development Managers to share in our continued success by joining our highly successful Central Acquisition Team. This is a telephone based, highly rewarded sales role, with an excellent base salary and an uncapped incentive scheme. You will manage the whole sales process.

Responsibilities as a American Express Graduate Business Development Manager:

- Winning new business via effective targeted calls through self – generation as well as following up on warm leads.
- Building and managing your own pipeline, targeting UK companies with revenues between $3 million to $35 million.
- Having the commercial flair and financial acumen to understand the market and identify potential new clients.
- Identifying key Decision Makers and articulating the benefits of the Corporate Expense Management solution using strong consultative and negotiation skills.
- Effective time management to manage the Sales, Risk and Anti Money laundering required processes to close successful, high charge volume, low Risk business.
