Retail Compliance Administrator

Reporting to:
Retail Compliance Manager

Division:
Paddy Power UK & IRE (Power Leisure Bookmakers Ltd)

Overall Purpose of Position:
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Retail Compliance Dept. with centralised administrative duties across both the UK & IRE retail estates.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Age Verification
• The day to day review of social responsibility logs to identify non-compliance and potential licensing issues
• To review all failed Serve Legal tests
• Provide Retail Ops with ‘fail packs’ highlighting the fail which can be used as part of the disciplinary process
• Assist the Retail Compliance Manager with assistance as directed

Self-Exclusion
• Inputting of new self-exclusion data into the self-exclusion data-base
• Distribution of relevant self-exclusion forms to the retail estate
• The recording of self-exclusion breaches into the self-exclusion data-base
• Inputting of re-commencement to gambling forms into self-exclusion data base
• Monthly audits cross referencing the self-exclusion data-base against the shops records
• Assist the Retail Compliance Manager with assistance as directed

Responsible Gambling
• Implementation of the responsible gambling retail contact strategies:
FOBT
OTC
Interaction assessments
• A day to day review of the social responsibility logs to identify non-compliance, or, high risk interactions
• Follow up as required with shops and management with non-compliance, or, high risk responsible gambling interactions
• Assist the Retail Compliance Manager with assistance as directed

Crime
• A day to day review of the social responsibility logs to identify non-compliance, or, high risk incidents
• Follow up as required with shops and management of non-compliance, or, high risk incidents
• Analysis of machine smashes and subsequent follow-up
• Assist the Retail Compliance Manager with assistance as directed

Lead Standards
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed and followed up
• Ensure smooth communication of key issues
• Ensure that Stores are adhering to the correct policies
