Paid Creative Jewellery Intern

Job description

A silver jewellery company in South West London is looking for some fast-paced, creative, hardworking and reliable interns to join our team! We are looking for someone that has a strong interest in jewellery making - you must be used to working with chains, jump-rings, pliers etc, and must be ready to get stuck in to a variety of different tasks!

Duties will include -
- General office admin and duties
- Assembling and making a range of different products
- Fulfilling retail and wholesale orders
- Dealing with both retail and wholesale customers in a sales capacity
- Liaising with suppliers
- Involvement in the creative process of designing some items of jewellery

You will be required to come in to the office 9.30am-5.30pm, four or five days a week (mon-fri only). We are looking for someone that can commit to 4-8 months (may be negotiated at a later date - if you impress us there's always the chance of becoming permanent!).

This is a paid intern position - you will receive £200/£250 a month depending on whether you're working four or five days. This can be discussed when you start.

This is a very exciting, challenging and rewarding position - in four-eight months, you will become a solid member of the team, learning all about the processes involved and you will be very well set up for a future in the jewellery industry. If we love you, we'll try our best to make your position permanent, but if this is not possible you will get a wonderful reference from us and a great internship to put on your CV!
