about the role

Ø  Cloud Administration ( Openstack and vCloud Director Based) .

Ø  Installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade of Operating Systems (Linux ) for Dev, QA, UAT.

Ø  Should be expert in Automation in System Administration Activities ( Using tools like scripting, Terraform, Ansible etc)

Ø  Should be good in technologies like Docker etc

Ø  Should have  very good working knowledge of  Linux Based O.S.  (RHEL 7.3, Cent OS, Ubuntu etc ),

Ø  He should be good on Hardening of O.S.

Ø  Shall be responsible for installation and support of OS etc in cloud  using tools like Terraform , Ansible etc.

Ø  Should have good knowledge of Cloud Native Platforms like Kubernetes , Cloud Foundary.

Ø  He will be responsible for patching of all the Servers and ensuring the security compliance.

Ø  Validation of requirements to be issued to dev groups for various applications.

Ø  Provide required support to Dev Groups for trouble shooting.

Ø  Assist Lead SA/Project manager in defining and implementing Lab. Management & Release Management processes.

about you

Educational Qualifications
B.Tech (Computer Science/IT/Electronics& Telecommunications), MCA, MSC in Computer science.
Relevant Experience
3 + years of experience in above mentioned activities
Desired skills/knowledge
Prior Experience in Backup and Recovery tools etc. Exposure to Storage administration will be an added advantage.
 

additional information

- Shall be responsible for  Cloud Administration (Openstack Based / vCloud Director Based)  , Automation (Using Terraform , Ansible etc) . Will be responsible for Dev, QA, UAT and Production environments for various applications being developed by Dev Groups with in OBSIT.
