about the role
Responsible for
· Development of business applications (Client-server, web, cloud)
· Change Request management which includes client interaction, requirement gathering, technical document preparation, impact analysis, design and development, unit & integrating testing, deployment
Building and testing Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange dataBuilding and maintaining databases;
· Incident Management
· Problem Analysis and RCA for every major ticket
Effective handling of Trouble tickets
Ensure Service Delivery as per agreed SLA
about you
Should have extensive experience on Service Now tools Development & administration, JAVA & Ajax development experience
Excellent understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business process
Proven development experience in ServiceNow MSP (Domain)
Experience with web services APIs /Mid server/Integration with other instances
Hands on Experince in JavaScript/web applications/client server applications
ServiceNow application customization using client scripts, Business Rules, UI Scripts etc.
Application UI Configuration using Content Management/ Workflow Configuration
Maintenance, administration and version standardization of Service Now
Knowledge of web applications, email (SMTP, POP3) and active Directory, LDAP
Support in analyzing workflows and present solution possibilities
Knowledge on Angular JS, CSS, HTML, PERL, PYTHON would be an added advantage
Knowledge on Discovery and Orchestration would be an advantage
Excellent attention to details, ability to multitask, and effective time management skills
Strong personal commitment to quality service
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Should be familiar with Agile/SCRUM Development
Service Now admin certification - Mandatory
ITIL V3 Foundation Certification – Mandatory
Service Now Implementation Certifcaton - Nice to have
