about the role
· Develop, implement, test, debug and provide technical support for All CVM activities including both Pre segmentation analysis and post assessment reporting
· Feed all the different departments of Orange with the required CVM reports and information to serve Orange strategic, tactical and operational plans and decisions. Plus enhancing the quality of data provided as to help in the decision making process based on smart and flexible data mining techniques and BI concepts.
· Execute, implement, test, debug, and provide technical expertise and support for analytics research, design, and development tasks within the overall scope of department objectives.
· Gather, analyze and translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required CVM models and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources. Then create, extract, examine and finally deliver those reports
· Provide guidance to developers, modelers and data administration concerning design and transition to the physical data environment
· Drives the evaluation and adoption of emerging data warehouse technologies including telecommunication sector Industry Standard Data Models for building an EDW.
· Responsible for designing, facilitating & maintaining metadata (business glossary, definition, golden source, derivation logic, ownership, etc.), data lineage, quality, profiling, mining and master data management.
· Manage and establish standards for naming and abbreviation conventions, data definitions, ownership, documentation and change management procedures/techniques "
· Facilitate the discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules from the functional experts and the user community
· Prepare fully refined data models in accordance with the modeling guidelines, conventions and best practices
· Enhance new and existing models with entities to represent client specific key models
about you
· B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent
· 4-5 years of working experience in information systems and business intelligence
· Have a deep understanding of various data modeling methodologies, design patterns and design principles in data warehousing.
· Strong SQL skill for enterprise class RDBMS.
· Awareness of Office and desktop applications (word, excel…,etc).
· Work experience in telecommunication environment is a plus
