about the role
Deliver all Moves, Adds & Changes on customer network connections, performing technical feasibility study and end-to-end project manage by coordinating with internal specialist teams. Release the change in customer agreed window time by leading the teleconference to achieve right First time, Every time success thereby creating Outstanding Customer Experience.
Develop structured documentation by analyzing changes to reduce variation in delivery and to improve the team’s effectiveness and performance. Contribute to the development processes and procedures working with counterparts in Cairo & Rio and Central teams and oversee their rollout.
• Responsible for performing Layer-3 changes. Good layer-3 skills are needed
• Change Management efficiency - CM
• Ensure and monitor on time delivery of communication on change preparation & guideline to achieve internal customer confidence - CM
• Monitor and report Quality of 1st time, right time change implementation - CMRM
• Ensure and monitor delivery of change implementation within customer agreed down time - CMRM
• Measure and classify change types as simple, complex and assign owners - CM
• Project manage bulk & complex migrations using standard process and procedures - CMRM
• Coach entry level engineers by sharing knowledge on tools and processes
• Asses, prioritize, respond and report on time for expedite requests
• Act as a point of contact for all first level escalation
• Participate in process development and rollout

about you
Educational Qualifications
- Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences or any professional degree.
Relevant Experience
- 3 to 6 years’ experience in the network area
Desired skills/knowledge
• Should have high-level knowledge of Layer 1,2 and 3 OSI level troubleshooting skills.Hands on experience on Layer 3 configurationis required.
• CCNA /CCNP and JNCIAcertified/BSCI preferred. DSL handon experience is required.
• PTT functioning and Change management knowledge.
• Understanding of networking technology and systems utilized in global WAN and LAN Business to business communications and IT systems environment.
• Knowledge of protocol, systems, communications interface, circuit knowledge and network problem determination/solving skills.
• Taking charge of complex projects and ensuring successful delivery in time.
• Ability to provide exemplary customer focused support in a fast paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge with strong focus on soft & new technology skills.
• Proficient in written/verbal communication skills.
• Team work, uses a team approach to solve problem when appropriate.
• Ability to build relationships with peer and management levels both with internal customers.
• Good interpersonal and Excellent communication written/verbal skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
