Lead, Converged Core Switching & IMS Operations And Support

Job description

about the role

·  Perform the daily Health Check for Core Switching & IMS network elements.
·  Troubleshoot and solve problems discovered in the daily health checks.
·  Perform the Work Orders over Core Switching & IMS network elements.
·  Create complete Signalling and IP configurations for the Core Switching & IMS elements.
·  Create the needed configuration for the integration of the new platforms related to other teams with the core network (Access ,IN, VAS, Billing, Provisioning, etc.).
·  Apply and follow up the correction actions taken related to problems handling.    
·  Perform the needed reporting & data extraction tasks for core achievements, vendors PST, major problems incidents reports.
·  Perform complete functional test and hardware acceptance for new core network elements on switch’s sites.
·  Implement, test and validate New features for Core Switching & IMS.
·  Provide technical support for Core Switching & IMS problems and escalate to vendors major and critical problems on 24/7 basis.
·  Handle the customer’s complaints and QoS problems.

about you

Education

·  B.SC. In Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.

Experience

·  Fresh graduate or up to 2 year experience in the same field.

skills

·  Very good English both written & spoken.
·  Very good computer skills.
·  CCNA knowledge.
·  Very Good knowledge in GSM and UMTS.
·  Good knowledge in call scenarios and protocols.
·  Ability to work under stress.

Insuring the network and service endurance and stability and implementing the network expansions and RNC/BSC/cell migrations over Core Switching & IMS network elements and performing the required functional testing for new projects.
