Orange Romania/Orage Services is looking for a colleague in its Romanian team to contribute and operate successfully IP core and EPC core network platforms.

You will be part of a young and dynamic organization together with network and service engineers, database, network and security experts, service and project managers.

As a Core Network Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of quality of service on core networking associated to mobile or fix infrastructure within a Business Unit.

You will also ensure that incident and change management processes are well performed within the agreed targets.

What you will be doing:

[Core network maintenance]

·  Configuring, testing, and maintaining core network equipment and related services
·  Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network problems
·  Deploying, monitoring, performing diagnostics and making changes to network and information systems components.
·  Working with Operational skill center experts and vendors for advanced troubleshooting.
·  Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures.

[Core network operations]

·  Performing preventive actions and systems performance tuning and recurring tasks
·  Accountable for standard operations and administration of core network infrastructure and services
·  Understanding affiliate network design and using the provided information in solving network issues
·  Performing regular security checks according to internal security policies in place to identify any possible intrusions.

[Core network change management]

·  Implement standard configuration and hardware changes in the production environment in full autonomy or with senior engineering support.

What are we looking for?

·  University degree with experience in an operational IT or Telecom environment
·  Solid knowledge of IP protocol, routers and IP based technologies.
·  Solid technical knowledge of 2G/ 3G/ 4G mobile core networks in particular Ericsson SGSN, GGSN, PCRF, DNS, OSS and EPC .
·  Excellent understanding of operations context.
·  Linux, Scripting
·  English - fluent
