about the role
Orange Cloud for Business is the division of Orange Business Services with the mission to drive enterprise-focused cloud transformations. To accompany our customers in their digital transformation, we offer a broad portfolio of skills and managed services in cloud infrastructure, big data, analytics and machine learning, to name a few.
As part of the development of the 'IT & Cloud Transformation' practice,we are looking for a
Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect (m/f) Geneva or Zürich,
whose main focus is to help our clients develop and realize their Cloud strategy and transformation with applied, innovative solutions.
What do we need you for?
· Clearly understand / assess the customer ask and to map solutions against real Customer Business Outcomes
· Be the bridge in a technical and consultative capacity, with various levels of stakeholders from engineering to CXOs
· Create innovative, robust multi-cloud and managed services solutions with state of the art methodologies & technologies
· Engage prospects in topics such as digitalization strategy, cloud transformation & adoption of cloud native architectures based on agile methodologies
· Contribute to provide customer input and updates to technology roadmap & portfolio
What will you be doing?
· Defining, refining and present cloud services
· Apply Enterprise cloud adoption frameworks
· Assist BDM/sales in making value propositions and pricing
· Technical bid management (proposal writing & presentations)
· Create public, private, hybrid and multi-cloud solutions leveraging Orange’s multi-domain capabilities (security, IoT, Containers, Workspace, etc.)
· Pitch cloud native approach - Containerization, Micro-Services and Serverless architectures, etc.
· Position Orange’s offers of big data, data engineering and data analytics portfolio
· Translate customer requirements into Orange solution blocks and provide guidance, solution integration to the regional and local bid teams

about you
Skills you should have:
· T-shaped capabilities across new-IT and legacy technical subjects
· Cloud architectures and deployment models
· DevOps methodologies mindset
· Solution risk assessment and mitigations
· Experience in XaaS solutions and services across AWS/Azure/GCP, but also CMP/CMS incl. automation / orchestration & industrialization
· Traditional delivery patterns (HA, DR, Backup & HCI etc.)
· Proven track record in delivering parallel & complex engagements
· Be a keen technologist who follows emerging solution and service developments
· Excellent English plus French or German written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical language for non-technical stakeholders (and vice-versa)
The role interacts with a broad variety of different units in the company about solution matters that affect our delivery capabilities of services offered / agreed upon and is expected to contribute to the development of our services and ensure that we work innovatively and forward-looking
Qualifications:
Essential: Degree from accredited university in technical field or equivalent experience
Desirable: Cloud certifications or equivalent (Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.)
Desirable: Pre & Post Technical sales accreditations or certifications
