about the role

Orange Moldova is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of  Cable Internet Engineer, responsible for Cable Internet & TV Services.

what you will be doing:

·  Configuration & support & maintenance of Fix services infrastructure
·  Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving of HW,SW, networking
·  Monitor NE & services performance
·  L2/L3 technical support / troubleshooting
·  Configure routing and switching equipment, VoIP services
·  Configuration & support & maintenance of VAS services
·  L3 technical contact with equipment / software manufactures
·  Remote support to on-site engineers
·  Capacity management and audit of IP based devices
·  Report network operational status

about you

·  university degree in telecommunications, engineering, or a related field
·  strong skills in Unix, Linux, Networking
·  basic skills in CATV, HFC will be a plus
·  Linux / Unix advanced skills
·  Bash or PHP or C will be a plus
·  driving license cat. B
·  proficiency in Romanian, Russian and English
