Job description

The primary focus of a Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Oracle solutions and services through a mix of inbound calls and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical

As a Telesales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business with inbound telemarketing calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.

Ability to demonstrate time management, telesales skills and knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided). Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products preferred. Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred. Two years relevant business experience preferred.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

· Qualify prospects and produce quality leads for Oracle Application(CRM, ERP, HCM) Sales Reps (cold calling, and prospecting calls – outbound calls)

· Setup & Manage team of Customer Intelligence (CI) representatives

· Lead, motivate and support BDC team to meet objectives of pipeline generation & achievement of sales targets for Oracle sales both Inside and Field sales team

· Team with Business Development to front all demand generation activities

· Qualify prospect's business strategy, pains and processes using effective questioning

· Analyse customer needs in terms of business obstacles, identifying projects, scoping potential Oracle solutions, and establish account presence by building trust with key contacts

· Present and articulate core technology product features, benefits, future product direction and overall Oracle Technology or Middleware solutions

KEY RESULT AREAS

Categorise the job into 3-5 major areas of responsibility. Sub-divide these into steps explaining the main activities and assign a percentage of time spent on each major category.

· Achievement of Quarterly and Yearly Pipeline expectations to meet Oracle's business objectives each quarter.

· Provide up to date customer intelligence for the running of campaigns

· Develop a motivated successful team, including recruitment, hiring and training new reps on the BDC processes and solution areas

· Achievement and analysis of key performance indicators for the BDC team

· Ensure effectiveness of teams Outbound call activities

· Optimise resource, capacity monitoring and scheduling

· Setup and manage the day-day running of Sales team - both Field Sales and TeleSales/Product Sales - and their related activities

· Involvement in the planning & execution of all internal and external demand generation campaigns to ensure effective delivery of the campaigns

· Effective working relationship with Sales, Marketing, Sales Consulting teams

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 2-3 years experience in a call center, Inside Sales, business development, Sales Consultant or marketing role

· Familiar with the business and IT landscape in Korea

· Demonstrates leadership skills, conflict resolution capabilities and analytical skills

· Ability to complete individual goals as well as management of team goals

· Effective written (incl. Email) and verbal communication skills especially in English is preferred

· Working knowledge of Oracle's products and services desirable

· Understands most advanced product solutions and features and demonstrates a strong solution selling expertise with reasonable understanding of the sales cycle

QUALIFICATIONS

· Tertiary qualification desirable or current relevant studies, but not essential
