Job description
First contact for prospects of Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force.
Acts as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.
0-2 years related experience. Able to demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, and knowledge of Oracle products and services. Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products a plus but not necessary. Professional demeanor. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.

Business Development Representative IC1
A challenging, exciting role that will test your business development skills, strategic thinking capabilities, ability to remain focused, and follow-through on plans. You will be provided the tools, raw data, training, coaching, and people resources to help you be successful. As part of Oracle University, you will be the First contact for prospects of Oracle University's business via inbound and Net New outbound calls. You will be responsible to qualify Oracle prospects and produce quality training leads for the Oracle University's Sales Force. You will coordinate with the Sales Force to monitor opportunity progression from inception to close. You will perform customer and/or opportunity database and record keeping activities using Oracle Sales Cloud and ONotes. You will be responsible to meet and exceed BDC metrics (Calls, emails, meetings etc.) established by Oracle University. You will also generate demand for Oracle University's solutions through social selling and outbound cold calling, qualify Oracle prospects, produce quality leads for the Oracle University's Sales Team, and identify/drive product expansion opportunities via high value relationships with existing customers.
Your Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the virtual sales team on account strategy, demand generation activities, and results
• Manage customer calls and web presentations
• Build sales pipeline using social selling, and cold calling methodologies
• Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in the Oracle CRM application and ONotes
• Coordinate sales efforts with Oracle University's Sales reps
• Gain in-depth knowledge of Oracle products and technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, etc.
• Drive high customer satisfaction and references by ensuring customer is receiving value from their Cloud services.
• Develop good customer relationships to identify and drive product expansion/up sell opportunities as well as service renewals
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS or BA degree with a GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred
• 2+ years work experience
• Able to demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided)
• Worked in a heavy metrics driven organization
