Startup Ecosystem Project Manager

Job description

Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.

Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Prefer 2 years of project management or related experience.

The program seeks to partner with Venture Capital and Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies in order to create an ecosystem of builders and innovators on the Oracle platform.

Your primary objectives and responsibilities will be to be the right-hand to the VP of the Startup Ecosystem as we build out our global reach. You will serve as a virtual chief of staff in helping with research, facilitating the engagement with both internal and external stakeholders and help support the operations of the team.

Critical Functions Include:

Research Support - You will research the investment community helping to identify the key players in the VC, PE and startup world.

Program Management - As we onboard community members into the program you will help with cross-functional operations to ensure that the program executes smoothly.
Stakeholder Management / Partnerships - You will serve as a key point of entry to help marshal resources and schedules of the team.

You are:

A entrepreneurial driven individual with a demonstrable track record managing complex project.

You will live and breath technology and understand the changing trends of a particular industry or technology area.

You will be able to think big and execute in detail managing multiple projects simultaneously.
