Job description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Qualifications :

This position is for Tools and Automation team within an Operations department for NSGBU (NetSuite Global Business Unit). As a member of this team, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop smooth running and innovative applications and software products

• Write and implement software solutions that integrate into different systems

• Develop internal tools for Cloud Operations

• Automate existing Operations workflows

Requirements:

• 3+ years core development experience

• Advanced level Python experience

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as CSS/React/Node JS

• Coding experience with Bash, Perl is a big plus

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Perforce

• Experience with continuous integration and build systems such as Jenkins or TeamCity.

• Ability to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
