Job description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Tools Development provides support to the framework and helps to add new functionality to various Applications under EnterpriseOne product family. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.




Required Skills :

· Candidate should have more than 3 years of experience in Development in object oriented programming, C/C++ on Windows and Unix , Candidates experience with Java preferred.

· Expert in using Visual Studio with C/C++,MFC, Win32 SDK.

· Expertise in one of more operating systems (LINUX).

· Experience in Multi-threaded software design/implementation capabilities.

· Knowledge of SQL with one or more Database software's (Oracle/SQL server)

· Familiar with Software Development Life-cycle.

Preferred Skills:

· Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

· Understanding Application Servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server or IBM WebSphere Application Server.

· Any candidate with prior JD Edwards experience would be a plus.

1. Own the support and maintenance for existing as well as new and enhanced features/functionality as they pertain to the deployment of Oracle JDEdwards EnterpriseOne products.

2. Work with our Global Support Center, Field Consultants and Customers to assure that our customers successfully implement and utilize our products. Collaborate with other development teams, synthesizing input to deliver fast and innovative solutions to reported issues with our products.




Detailed Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
