Job description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Role is focused on Oracle BRM/OMC and Oracle NCC (OC3C) in support of Convergent Charging or IN based charging scenarios. Role will involve developing the BRM/Charging hands-on configuration and demonstration use case building and documentation.

Desired Profile:

Ø Minimum 4+ years of experience on BRM (Online and offline charging)

Ø Oracle NCC (OC3C). Skills and experience in Billing, Rating, and On-line Charging is desirable.

Ø Should have good knowledge of BSS domain such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP, Pots, IPTV

Ø Should have played developer role in at least two implementations.

Ø Should be able to work both as an individual or in a team.

Ø Experience in Migration (upgrade) within different BRM versions and from other billing applications to BRM Application is a plus.

Ø 2+ years experience in all technical aspects on BRM product implementation and customization with specific focus on Price plan, OPCODE customization and customization of various facility modules.

Ø Development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module.

Ø Knowledge on the account structure and hierarchy.

Ø Working as a fully contributing team member,

Ø Building domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise, while adapting standard principles to new or changed conditions in day to day work.

Ø Good understanding of business trends and needs for communications service providers in the Billing Domain.

Ø Domain knowledge on Pre-paid, Post-paid Billing areas for ISP, Broadband, service providers.

Ø Domain Knowledge in any of the BSS Functional components (Billing, Rating, Invoicing, Mediation, Interconnect Billing & Settlement, Collection , Account Receivables).

Ø Experience in all technical aspects on BRM product implementation and customization with specific focus on Price plan, Pipeline rating, Discounting and various framework.

Ø Experience in Application integration with BRM.

Ø Strong knowledge and experience in Java, C/C++, Oracle 10g / 11g / 12c, PL / SQL, Pro*C, Java.

Ø Knowledge of UX technologies like JSF/ADF/JS/OJET is a plus.

Ø Knowledge of any one middleware and Knowledge of SOA and (or) Web services will be desirable.

Soft Skills - Good communication skills & interpersonal skills. - Should be able to articulate ideas and concepts in written and oral communication.
