Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Install Base HCM Senior Sales Consultant/HCM Cloud is a customer-focused consultative position working with our existing clients in post-sale advocacy. In this role, you will help drive customer success by working with clients who are in need of a software Optimization in our Fusion HCM Cloud Suite. The Install Base HCM Senior Sales Consultant possesses advanced knowledge of Oracle HCM & Talent Management software solutions and participates in sales cycles supporting the Customer Success Team. An HCM Senior Sales Consultant interacts primarily with existing customers through discovery conversations, product solution demonstrations, process optimization exercises, and top-notch solution synthesis driven by deep discovery and consultation with our customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Actively maintaining a superior depth of product knowledge in their designated product areas, including
§ competitive offerings
§ all solutions enabled by the products
· portfolio of case studies of implementations
· links to development teams
· information on future product development
· Understand the needs and pains of the customer and then to link them to a set of products/solutions provided by Oracle
· Ability to develop compelling business cases, with benefits and measurable metrics and value propositions to be presented to our install client base.
· Create, present and deliver meetings/presentations/seminars and events as required
· Respond to tenders, RFI's, RFP's, proposals with respect to product/solution information
· Maintain understanding and awareness of all relevant competitive products in the marketplace.
· Demonstrate leadership abilities and superior presentation skills in a multi-cultural environment.
· Create and maintain relationships with key product stakeholders like Product Marketing, Development, Strategy, Partners, etc.
· Proficient with current and upcoming Cloud technology
· Deep knowledge of the broad Fusion product pillars with the drive to be a product knowledge expert and desire to be the go-to guru for a particular product within the suite
· Demonstrated and natural desire to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
· Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
· Effective presentation skills with competence presenting both live and via WebEx to diverse audiences from first-level / inexperienced users to senior level executive sponsors. § Ability and passion to craft value-added solutions for a diverse group of demanding and forward thinking clients.
§ Must possess ability to translate client requirements and their current experiences in the system to realistic and viable solutions.
§ Ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels (C-Level to Functional Managers)
§ Contributes to the achievement of a product/business unit target for North America Applications (e.g. US and Canada)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
§ College degree or proven work experience
§ CPP and/or PHR/SPHR certification desired
WORK EXPERIENCE
§ Preferred 3-5 years of HCM | Talent Management domain experience
§ Preferred 2-4 years of Fusion / HCM Cloud software knowledge
§ Prefer 3-5 years of experience demonstrating, positioning and communicating the benefits of packaged software applications
· Preferred 3-5 years of experience as an implementation consultant, HR Transformation project manager, or pre-sales consultant § Experience in sales and sales processes
§ Preferred competitive background experience with ADP, Cornerstone, SAP, Workday, Kenexa, Ultimate or Lawson
