Job description

Serves as a financial advisor and business partner in managing the activities of the financial analyst staff. Ensures that global business processes and practices are followed in providing accurate financial analysis in support of Oracle's business to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. Manages a professional staff.

As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will manage the finance team and drive key cross functional business practices such as management of the budget and forecasting processes. Your will prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget. Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control. Monitor divisions and subsidiaries adherence to budgets. Develop, implement, and integrate financial practices across multiple organizations and locations. Develop, recommend, and implement financial policies, practices, and process changes.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to manage processes, and identify cross-functional issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. 8 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.

Responsibilities:

·  Partner with senior Oracle NetSuite leadership to provide decision support and value added analysis.
·  Manage and coordinate with geographically dispersed finance team.
·  Lead the annual and multi-year planning process for area of responsibility including developing of revenue and margin targets, capacity modeling, resource allocation, and expense planning.
·  Take lead role on key projects/programs that drive the business forward.
·  Lead the forecasting process for area of responsibility.
·  Monthly and quarterly revenue, expense, and metrics reporting for executive management.
·  Develop and maintain comprehensive management reporting, and analytical insight .
·  Work with both operations and business management to identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers. Be proactive in reviewing information identifying inconsistencies, trends and issues for management. Drive consistent processes and standard formats.
·  Participate in Quarter end activities and contribute in close process.
·  Build and maintain high-level knowledge across business area by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business. Understand associated risks and opportunities. Develop an understanding of critical business performance drivers.
·  Reporting and Analysis: Work with both operations and business management to identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers. Be proactive in reviewing information identifying inconsistencies, trends and issues for management. Drives consistent processes and standard formats.
·  Participate in various Global Business Finance change initiatives to drive improvements in efficiency effectiveness of financial reporting and business partnership.
·  Proactively drive analysis on key trends and understand business drivers behind the trends we are seeing in the results.
·  Ensure data quality and accuracy of management reporting.
·  Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed. Leadership Characteristics:

·  Ability to stay organized, prioritize objectives in a dynamic, challenging environment Personal Skills and Qualifications:

·  Minimum 10 years finance/accounting experience (MBA is equivalent to two years' experience)
·  Experience in managing a Finance team, preferable on a global level
·  BS in Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA or CPA a plus
·  Cloud, SaaS or software experience preferred
·  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
·  Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must
·  Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
·  Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning a plus
