Job description

Manages activities of revenue team to ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance with Corporate policies and SEC standards. Manage and resolve internal customer inquiries Manages a professional staff.

Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of revenue activities for Oracle Corporation. Directs staff activities to ensure accurate processing of all revenue related activities in accordance with corporate policies and Service Legal Agreements. Includes reconciliation of receivables and unearned accounts and processing of revenue impacting adjustments. Develop, manage, and implement systems to improve departmental processes and procedures. Work closely with other organizations to ensure that system enhancements and business processes are implemented. Identify, propose and initiate implementation of system enhancements and business process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships with key players internally and in local countries. Acts as a liaison with key personnel of the revenue cycle in the IeBC, Division, and local country levels to ensure business needs are met. May train employees on system and process upgrades and/or changes

Coordinates the daily activities of a work group, setting priorities to ensure task completion. Provides technical/functional leadership as well as first line supervision, but does not have hire/fire authority. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of accounting practices. Strong understanding of transactional impacts. Oracle Financials and Excel knowledge is essential. AR/RA Experience. BA/BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

The below illustrates the tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Team Lead, License Inventory and Reconciliation:

a) Ownership of team's objectives and KPIs, as agreed with the Manager and in conjunction with the LMS Management Team.

b) Has the responsibility of distributing the workload within the team, ensuring that quality and time line standards are fulfilled.

c) Supervises team activity and ensures compliancy with internal policies and procedures.

d) Responsible for daily planning, as well as for long-term planning activities.

e) Responsible for operational rollout of services within the team, as agreed by Manager in conjunction with LMS Global Process Owners.

f) Takes ownership of escalations that arise within the team and drives to resolution.

g) Provides regular performance metrics to the Manager.

h) Provides fiscal and quarterly reporting to the Manager.

i) Works closely with other LOB's (e.g. License, Sales, Contracts, AIT etc)

j) Interviews and makes hiring decisions for qualified candidates.

k) Responsible for the team's evaluation, training, talent management and career development.

l) Encourages the innovation inside the teams, creates an innovative working environment.

m) Acknowledges, applies and promotes within the team the Company policies, procedures and processes as defined at Company /Line of Business /Department Levels.

I. Required Experience:

Experience in managing/leading teams.

Project Management background is desirable.

II. Education profile:

Preferably a Degree in Computer Science or Economics

Experience in working on multiple projects concurrently.

Experience in working with/managing people.

Excellent English speaking written and verbal communication skills.
