Job description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

The Development Team

The team you will be joining is at the heart of the Oracle Marketing Cloud. We are using Oracle and the latest technologies to enable integration between solutions within the portfolio, as well as other Oracle and third-party products. Each solution presents a unique set of challenges and problems to solve. The team is currently working on an integration project between Eloqua and Salesforce, and will next be incorporating new AI and Analytics features into Eloqua. The team consists of a mixture of Full-Stack developers in Toronto, Indianapolis, and Reston, VA, using cloud-based tools for collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

· 
Help identify and implement the tools and processes to allow us to measure test coverage (manual and automated)

· 
Define automation best practices (use of mock services, data loader, data validation, etc.)

· 
Work with Sr. Architects to understand the system architecture and infrastructure and guide overall test teams accordingly

· 
Work with development teams during planning to identify the APIs, services, and metrics needed to support the test plans

· 
Define a roadmap to provide complete automation of the solution

· 
Help create test framework for performance testing

· 
Assist team with creation of performance test plans

· 
Educate teams on performance testing processes, methodology, performance & scalability and the science of testing

· 
Assist with Troubleshooting & System Tuning

· 
Lead performance test reviews

· 
Publish performance analysis reports and conduct review sessions with stakeholders

Qualifications

· 
Extensive experience in Automation Frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, Junit

· 
Strong knowledge of REST web services automation testing using tools like Ready! API, REST Assured

· 
Experience with build management tools Jenkins, Maven, Ant and continuous integration of automation suites

· 
Familiarity and/or Expertise with tools like JMeter, OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), PerfMon, CURL, PostMan, Oracle SQL Developer, JIRA, Zephyr, Selenium

· 
Familiarity with testing cloud/SaaS solutions using microservices and Docker with Kubernetes
