Job description

Work with Oracle*s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle*s global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, lead the design, development, modification, debugging, and evaluation programs for extremely complex internal systems. Provide expertise to analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new internal systems. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Provide leadership and expertise in extremely complex internal systems, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommend and justify major changes to existing internal systems. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Ten or more years of related experience recommended.

Oracle Premium Cloud Operations is responsible for delivering managed services for Oracle Fusion Applications for selected Premium customers through the entire product life cycle. This includes provisioning, implementation support, production support, migrations and upgrades, change management, release management, cloning and automation solutions.

Oracle Premium Cloud Operations is looking self-motivated individual contributors and dynamic team players capable of working as part of our global team.

As a member of the Premium Cloud Operations organization, you will deliver support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. You will provide strategic technical support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. A primary focus of the role is to utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document and resolve/avoid customer issues.

You are expected to be an expert level member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought out to address extremely complex, critical customer issues.

The work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical solutions at the cutting edge of Oracle's Cloud technologies.

This role is with one of our leading government customers in London. It requires having a minimum 10 Years UK residency; willingness to take part in a DV Security Clearance process; The work involves shifts and out of hours work. After an initial training program will be 100% onsite.

Candidates should have:
·  Relevant Industry experience of at least 5 years.
·  Degree level education in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science / Management Information Systems/Science / Engineering / Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry
·  Working knowledge of Linux/Unix including commands and shell scripting
·  Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills, preferably in Oracle Middleware with some experience of database support
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills
·  The ability to work both independently and with members of a global team without close supervision
·  A minimum of 3 years experience and advanced skills several of the areas listed below:
·  Weblogic Application Server installation, configuration, administration & troubleshooting
·  Administration and configuration of Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW)
·  SOA suite administration (BPEL & WSM)
·  Single-Sign-On (SSO) configuration and administration
·  Oracle Internet Directory (OID) & Identity Management Suite (IDM) administration & troubleshooting
·  Experience with administration of a major business application suite such as Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle eBusiness suite, Peoplesoft, Siebel etc.
·  Experience managing Oracle databases including installation, upgrades, patching, cloning, backup and recovery, troubleshooting, performance tuning and networking.
·  Experience with Database Performance investigative and tuning techniques (configuration, use of tkprof , AWR etc.)
·  Hands-on experience and knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM) 11g & 12c
·  Experience with Oracle Transparent Data Encryption, Database Vault, or Golden Gate would be a advantageous.
