An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

A highly experienced Oracle GoldenGate specialist with deep technical expertise in installing, configuring and administering Oracle GoldenGate Ideally should have 6-10 years of hands-on experience managing production environments and doing large database migration projects.

Must have skills
• Be able to install, configure and administer Oracle GoldenGate for full load and delta load in Linux and Windows environments.
• Setup topologies, use parameter files to transform data, use GG command line interface (GGSCI).
• Configure capturing of DML and DDL statements for both unidirectional and bidirectional replication with collision detection.
• Must have worked in Classic and Integrated mode.
• Be able to Monitor, Troubleshoot and Tuning of GG processes - Extract, Pump and Replicat.
• Experience in installing, configuring, upgrading and administering different versions of Oracle Database.
• Must have experience of at least 2 projects implementation on GoldenGate 11i or 12c using Oracle database as source and target.
• Exposure to RAC and ASM Administration.
• Must have the ability to upgrade and migrate databases from one platform to another using various tools like Oracle Data Pump, RMAN and TTS/XTTX and execute migrations using such tools.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Must be familiar with day-to-day operations such as monitoring, performance tuning and making recommendations after generating AWR and ADDR reports.
• Strong shell scripting knowledge.

Desirable Skills
• Experience in working with Oracle Applications & Databases running on Oracle Cloud platform.
• Experience in migrating on premise databases to Oracle Cloud.
• Basic software networking skills.
