What is a Digital Advocate?



The title might be slightly ambiguous but the objective is clear. We live in an ever changing digital world, but not everybody is moving with the times. A Digital Advocate's passion for technology enables them to encourage and inspire others to embrace change and emerging technologies.

The Digital Advocate Internship offers an exciting mix of on the job experience, innovative project work & training. We are looking for energetic, technology savvy individuals to help grow a start-up function through online digital advocacy of new and existing technologies. This internship is suitable for students who are looking for a unique role in a commercial environment.

As part of this internship you will work closely with the Tech Product Strategy Leader and Customer Acquisition Team.

To achieve your individual advocacy goals you will be matched with a mentor from these teams, specializing in a technology topic of your choice.

What will I be doing?

·  External advocacy while specializing in a technology topic of your choice.
·  Internal advocacy for sales representatives – this includes projects which encourage employees to use digital selling techniques.
·  Creating and sharing content on your technology topic on a variety of internal and external social platforms.
·  Using your data analytics and programming skills to create and engage with online tech communities.
·  Curating content for internal events around your technology topic.
·  Evaluating your impact – discovering new ways to gauge your impact.
·  Proposing and executing individual projects with a value to Oracle.
