Job description
Organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues in a manufacturing environment.
Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing. Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer specifications are met. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge; provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process/rating improvement efforts. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.
Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Typically graduate or equivalent with 0 - 2 year experience.

Job Summary
Scope includes but is not limited to Americas supply chain services, inventory control/synchronization, critical parts availability, in transit and open order management, and partner (DHL) operations management. Manages, organizes and executes a variety of logistics tasks and system synchronization issues in a manufacturing, logistics, and customer service environment both reactive and proactively. Directly responsible for the synchronization of system inventories between Oracle's GSI system and DHL's Select Upgrade (SU) system as well as other synchronization elements (open order and in transit synchronization). Provide daily/weekly operational reports/metrics to management and Oracle's partner, DHL. Key stakeholders include Dispatch, Planning, Global Freight and Warehousing, and DHL. Provides data analysis for operational planning, partner performance and leads/participates in process continuous improvement efforts. Leads and assists in developing logistics plans and procedures for special projects or initiatives. Duties and tasks are mostly complex. Role is largely independent with minimal supervision

Stakeholder Support
Act as key interface to Dispatch and Planning Team, providing day-to-day logistics
Support for queries including order creation, rejection & reservations, Stock Adjustments, etc.
Act as liaison between our Lead Logistics Provider DHL, country Logistic Account Managers and the Logistics Operational Managers in the region. Work together with logistics service providers (DHL), in partnership related to daily delivery & inventory issues .
III. Qualifications & Technical Requirements
2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree preferred. Ideally a technically inclined professional individual with at least two years experience in a Hi-Tech Customer Service environment, coupled with experience in Freight and Warehouse or Supply Chain Management would be an advantage.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are a must. Advanced Excel skills and knowledge is a must.
Computer literate with advanced competencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Strong analytical, self motivated, and professional interpersonal skills.
Able to thrive in a fast pace, high pressure, and often complex environment.
Flexible team player with a “what ever it takes” positive attitude.
Primary Shift: M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Will be required to cover the 8:00 am shift from time to time and also work over time as needed. Working Costa Rica holidays is also a requirement.
Technical and Excel Requirements:
Able to compile and analyze large spreadsheets, filter by various data elements, create pivots, and assess trends.
Produce summaries, calculations and patterns/trends to describe the data and submit to operational teams to assist in understanding overall operational performance.
Use various reporting tools to download/upload and manipulate data
Use various repositories to store and share data/results.
