Job description

What you will do:
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.

Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

Preferred Skills / Experience
The successful candidate is expected to have a wide and diverse set of relevant skills, in particular:
• Excellent knowledge of classic ML and AI tasks (e.g., for classification, clustering, recommendation, ...)
• Experience / Excellent knowledge of classic ML and AI tools and techniques (e.g., neural networks, SVMs, decision trees, ...)
• Experience in designing and deploying ML and AI tools in real-world applications
• Good programming skills in (possibly multiple) data science languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, Spark, ...)
• Knowledge of the property graph model and graph analytics is a plus
• Team-playing attitude to join an agile team in developing cutting-edge technology
• Excellent communication (speaking, writing design reports and presentations) in English
