Job description

Intermediate-level consulting professional who has a general understanding of solutions or technology designs within a product/technology family. Works directly with Consulting sales to analyze customer business needs.

Performs standard duties and tasks with some oversight in order to design business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Operates within defined policies and processes by applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, leading practices, and creativity to develop business solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May assist in influencing customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Builds a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge.

2-5 years of experience relevant to this position including 1-2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Some product, technology or industry expertise. Basic ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions. General knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions. Ability to travel as needed.

Seeking candidates with 2-4 years of IaaS or PaaS Cloud experience

We are building out a new team of Intermediate level (2-4 years of professional experience) IaaS Solutions Consultants who will partner with our Field Pre Sales and IaaS Delivery teams to build IaaS Customer Solutions. IaaS Solutions Consultants must be able to operate independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to an account team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices.

Training will be provided.

You will perform standard duties and tasks with some variation to define cloud solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer requirements. Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on simple to moderately complex customer engagements. Competent in at least two product or technology areas.

Gather and validate necessary customer business requirements for successful execution
Apply product and configuration knowledge to customer requirements; participate in gap analysis and solutions design
Anticipate risks/issues associated with assigned task; provide recommendations for resolution

Demonstrate understanding of and leverage Oracle methodologies, tools and leading practices

Contribute to a knowledge repository as applicable

Provide assistance through peer review of other team member's work products

Preferred Experience

·  2 to 4 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical role
·  One relevant technical certification (e.g., AWS, Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft, Oracle, Project Management Institute, TOGAF, VMWare).

Required skills to be considered:

·  Undergraduate Degree or Masters Degree in a related field
·  Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
·  Local to Austin Texas or able to relocate without requiring financial assistance
·  Ability to travel in North America up to 50% quarterly maxl, very likely less
