Job description

Design, deliver, and support global sales model with focus on productivity improvement of planning process and application.

Partner with lines of business in the design of compensation models in the support of strategic business initiatives. Update Terms and Conditions of compensation plans. Ensure global salesforce planning system is setup for online distribution of plans. Approve sales incentive programs; ie: SPIFFs. Provide reports to finance on effectiveness of sales model and SPIFFs. Roll-out sales force plans globally to enable Oracle salesforce to accept compensation plans online. Create sales matrix which communicates payment structure to sales organization. Create on-target earnings matrix. Train Sales and Finance on global sales model and compensation models. Field questions from organization on models. Train Finance on Salesforce planning.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical skills. Ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets. 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree

We currently have an exciting position available for a Global Incentive Compensation (GIC) Operation Analyst based in our Rocklin, CA office. The GIC Ops Analyst will support a global team responsible for designing the corporate strategy for variable compensation in the License, Systems, Consulting, Support, and Education lines of business.

Brief Description

The focus of this position will be to maintain a global database of compensation's plans and product correlation. Acting as a strategic partner with the Divisional Planning Managers (DPM) for each line of business. The role will support the design, modeling, presentation, and evolution of the compensation program within the Global Compensation Planning team.

The position will also administer the Compensation Exception Registration Tool (CERT).

Detailed Description

The position will be filed by a confident person who is motivated to tackle a quickly evolving and highly visible process within a Corporation environment.

Responsibilities

· Maintains global database of compensation plans

· Administers the Compensation Exception Registration Tool ( CERT)

· First line of customer service for high volume of policy questions / clarifications providing guidance and communication on incentive programs, compensation exceptions issues.

· Researches details of all changes in corporate policy and product / service offerings determining the financial and motivational impact on the compensation plan.

· Designs, maintains, and publishes the global compensation communication materials and legal documentation.

· Understands and articulates new compensation model to Global Business Analysts (GBA) to setup in global compensation application.

· Ensures customer satisfaction

· Identifies and recommends projects that will improve efficiencies in processes and policies.

Preferred Qualifications

· BA/BS, preferably in Business Administration

· 3+ years of professional work experience preferable in an accounting and/or finance role

· Excellent quantitative/analytical problem solving capabilities

· Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail

· Ability to work productively independently and in a team environment

· Intermediate Excel skills required

· BI Publisher experience/skills

· OBIEE Reporting

· Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours

· Effective in building relationships

· Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to change

· Excellent customer focus
