Job description

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

Summary:

The Solution Development Center of Excellence organization is responsible for assisting the pre-sales team win new business by delivering assets that improve productivity and efficiency of the global pre-sales teams. As an individual contributor and subject matter expert, to this team, you will add value throughout the demonstration asset build process in the areas of: gathering requirements, solution mapping, feature configuration, documentation and in depth product presentations to sales consultants. This is achieved through the design, creation, customization, deployment, and support of country and industry specific solutions across all NetSuite products used in the selling process to help win business.

Responsibilities:
·  Collaborate closely with the pre-sales community, product management, product marketing to win new business
·  Keen understanding of sales cycle, strategic product messaging, competitive intelligence, to effectively create assets and position NetSuite as the solution of choice
·  Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of industry and country-specific leading high-impact demonstration assets
·  Quick emersion into Oracle + NetSuite's cutting edge products to leverage in asset creation
·  Responsible for general release and asset maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
·  BA / BS / MBA or equivalent applicable work experience
·  5-7 years in a comparable pre-sales or professional consulting position supporting the sales or implementation of Financial Management, SRP, or ERP applications preferred.
·  Previous application experience in one or more of the following desired: SAP, Oracle Fusion/e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Salesforce.com, Epicor, Infor, Sage, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Magento, Shopify
·  Product knowledge with enterprise applications software vendor with the following modules:
·  Financials Management
·  Project Accounting and Management, Resource Management, Timesheet and Expense Management
·  Items & Pricing: item types, pricing (pricing groups, pricing levels, customer-based pricing)
·  Purchasing & landed cost management
·  Technical: cloud architecture, integration, EDI, ETL, application customization, application security, workflow/business process management
·  Demonstrate an understanding of the industry and appropriate acumen for at least one of the following verticals: Professional Services, Wholesale Distribution, Software, Advertising Media & Publishing, Light Manufacturing, Retail or Not for Profit.
·  Ability to assimilate complex concepts and clearly articulate business solutions
·  Ability to work and communicate well with various stakeholders from cross departmental teams and leadership
·  Ability to partner well with teams and drive projects forward is essential to the success of this role


Other Desired Qualifications

·  CPA or Public accounting experience
·  3-5 years working for an enterprise software vendor
·  2-5 years' experience in an enablement role mentoring others
·  2 years' experience working with NetSuite in a Pre-sales capacity
·  2 years in a team lead / project manager role
·  Proven track record of commitment to customer success, delivering innovation
·  Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
