An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

We are looking for a skilled and field-tested Oracle data management expert willing to work with our customers on their transition to Oracle Cloud with a focus on Oracle Autonomous Database.

He/she is also a thought leader, credible and trusted in front of customers and sales, bringing field experiences in leading propositions the area of infrastructure.

Responsibilities

·  Support customers on their cloud journey to lead the transition to the Oracle Cloud in both IaaS and PaaS flavors with focus on Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Services
·  Design and implementation of On Premises (Exadata primarily), Cloud or Cloud at Customer technology solutions related database management systems including network and security as part of the overall consistent technical architecture
·  Work closely with Cloud Platform Sales, Pre-Sales, Enterprise Architects, Customer Success Managers and other Services Line Of Business

Technical Qualifications

·  Hands-on experiences with mission critical datacenter systems & databases
·  3+ years of experience with Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 18c) as an DBA / Consultant / Support Engineer
·  Proven experience in using the main Oracle DB options such ASM, RMAN, RAC, Multitenant and Data Guard as well as in performing technical tasks such as Performance Monitoring & Tuning, deal with resource pooling, scalability & business continuity architectures
·  IT and Data Security skills required, Cloud security skills are strong advantage
·  Strong Unix / Linux and Virtualization skills are essential, additional Windows skills are useful

· Real Time Data Alignment & Replication skills, experience with Oracle Exadata as well Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is an advantage

·  SQL and scripting experience (Python / Unix Scripting) is an advantage
·  Willingness to learn new technologies
·  Sharp technical troubleshooting skills
·  Bachelor / Master Degree or comparable education/professional experience is an advantage
·  Oracle related certification is an advantage
·  Strong communications skills are must
·  Willingness to work on international assignments
