Job description

Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.

Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Two years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Five years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.

Primary Focus

Oracle Certification Program (OCP) is our prestigious and highly sought-out-for certification program for technical professionals in the Oracle information technology marketplace. The certification program specialist will be part of the OCP Operations Support team. This team's primary responsibility is to service customer queries and validate certification credentials for certified candidates. The role involves responding to customer queries about the Oracle Certification Program, verifying their attendance requirements, processing success kits, and compiling various internal reports.

Job Responsibilities

·  Provide customer support via email for pre/post certifications queries in a timely manner with quality instructions to help resolve customer issues
·  Manage complex and critical requests, and escalations received from customers
·  Work on multiple tools and systems to manage the certification program
·  Analyze the root causes of issues to provide a complete resolution
·  Work in a global team by collaborating with peers and stakeholders across regions
·  Compile daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc analysis and reports to support the certification program
·  Work with the team members to fulfill certification support requirements/processes and ensure joint success
·  Perform various audits to support the certification program
·  Create and update best practices and processes

Professional Skills

·  Graduate degree with 2+ years of experience in Customer Support or similar domain
·  Good command over written English with excellent comprehension skills
·  Must be diligent and highly detail-oriented
·  Able to self-manage, prioritize, execute, and deliver assigned tasks
·  Able to think out of the box with a positive attitude towards the workplace and can understand customers issues
·  Able to communicate succinctly and effectively
·  Able to work late evening / early night work hours to accommodate requirements of global operations
·  Good at working on multiple parallel deliverables and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
·  Must have strong customer support skills
·  Hands on experience with office automation tools e.g. Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
